DB handed over 6 coordinators to families

Six coordinators of the 'anti-discrimination student movement' have been released from the Intelligence Branch (DB). They were handed over to their families around 1:40 am on Thursday (August 1). At this time, they are seen being taken in DB's car.
Earlier in the morning, the family members of the detained coordinators were called to the DB office. Six coordinators are - Md. Nahid Islam, Md. Sarjis Alam, Hasnat Abdullah, Md. Abu Bakr Majumdar, Asif Mahmud and Nusrat Tabassum.
Earlier, on Friday (July 26), the three coordinators of the quota reform movement, Nahid Islam, Asif Mahmud and Abu Bakr Majumdar, were taken from the hospital to the DB office on Minto Road. Later on Saturday (July 27). Sarjis Alam, Hasnat Abdullah and Nusrat Tabassum were also taken into DB custody. Later on Sunday (July 28) night, the six coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement announced the withdrawal of all programs from DB custody.
In the written message signed by them, it is said, "Many people have been unexpectedly injured and killed in the situation arising in the wake of the quota reform movement." Apart from this, there have been various violent incidents including arson in state buildings. We strongly condemn all these untoward incidents and demand fair investigation and speedy trial.
