The 11th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has been a hotbed of controversy and its impact is still lingering. This time, Yesha Sagar, who was the team's host and Canadian model in the league, has made serious allegations against Chittagong Kings. In a recent post on Facebook, she stated that her salary from Chittagong Kings has not been paid yet and her visa has not been extended, forcing her to return home.
Yesha Sagar said, "There was a delay in receiving the salary from Chittagong Kings and the full amount has not been paid yet. Also, I was asked to participate in an advertisement, which was not part of my contract." She further claimed, "My visa expired on January 19, but despite repeated assurances, it was not extended. My passport was withheld for two weeks, and finally my passport was returned without a visa."
After this incident, Yesha Sagar also received a legal notice against Chittagong Kings, which he commented was very embarrassing for him and was against the contract. After these incidents, he decided to return home as he did not feel safe in Bangladesh. However, he expressed his desire to come back to Bangladesh and expressed gratitude for the time spent there.
Meanwhile, Chittagong Kings owner Samir Quader Chowdhury told the media, "I had a commitment with him to pay the remaining payments by the last week. There was no problem with the payment. He rejected them and demanded additional money."
